Reviews and Follow Ups

If you have any concerns about your condition following discharge please return to the Emergency Department immediately for reassessment.

The cost of a review for the same episode of care for an acute condition will be bulk billed within 7 days with the exception of wound and fracture care which will vary.

Occasionally your treating Doctor in the Emergency Department may request to see you for a follow up review of your presentation by themselves or another informed doctor. This visit to the Emergency Department will be bulk billed.

However Pathology and Radiology item costs will still be incurred.
